A series of overnight closures are set to delay drivers on the M4 in Berkshire this week while smart motorway works continue.
There are five closures over the next few nights on the M4 that will cause delays to drivers.
There will be carriageway closures near Reading and the motorway will be closed in both directions between junction 6 for Slough and junction 8/9 for Maidenhead on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night.

The first closure near Wokingham will begin at 8pm on Tuesday, September 14 with the sliproad closed westboundfrom the A329M until 6am on Wednesday, September 15.
The M4 westbound entry slip road will be closed at Junction 10 from the A329M southbound between 8pm and 6am on Tuesday, September 14, and Wednesday, September 15, as part of the smart motorway project. A diversion will be in place via the Highways England network.
The westbound carriageway of the M4 will be closed in both directions overnight between Junction 6 and Junction 8/9 as part of the Smart Motorways project. The closure will run between 8pm and 6am on Tuesday, September 14, Wednesday, September 15 and Thursday, September 16. A diversion will be in place via the local authority's road network.
The M4 eastbound will be closed between Junction 12 and Junction 11 on Wednesday, September 15, from 8pm until 6am for Smart Motorway works. A diversion will be in place via the local authority's road network.
The M4 will be closed in both directions overnight between Junction 5 and Junction 6, from Friday, September 17, until Sunday, September 19 for Smart Motorway works. The eastbound carriageway will close at 8pm each night, while the westbound carriageway will close at 9pm. The road will reopen in both directions at 6am each morning. A diversion will be in place via the local authority's road network.
The M4 will be closed in both directions between Junctions 12 and 13 for structural work to take place. The closure will take place from 9pm to 6am on Friday, September 17. Local diversions will be in place.
